What speakers perform well with Kenwood receivers?

I am getting ready to purchase a Kenwood HTB-544 and was wondering what speakers have performed well with the VR509(or any current Kenwood receiver)if I decide to upgrade the speakers down the line.

I should clarify my question. What "brand" speakers have performed well with (current) Kenwood receivers such as the vr507,509,etc.?
