I have a Bose Acoustimass 15 system not being used. I know they are not a fantastic system and equally not as good for audio due to gaps in frequency response. Anyway, I need to run speakers in my kitchen and dining/living room (all adjacent to one another) Being on a tight budget, is there any way to get this system to simply pump audio to these rooms without being in 5.1 setup? I was thinking run a speaker selector switch (i have a Niles ss4)to just the front left and right channels. Does this system play audio through all 5 channels when connected in 5.1 configuration?
