I am planning a home theater built around a few components I already have. For sound, I will probably use it 90% as HT and 10% just music (rock and jazz). I currently have a pair of magnepan SMGa's (about 20 years old) which I would like to use as front left/right. I also have some old EPI speakers I was going to use for the 2 back surround speakers.
To add to that, I was thinking of
Magnepan MMGC center chanel speaker $300 SVSound PB 10 sub $430 NAD 755 receiver $1000?
I don't know if the NAD really exists. I have seen a listing for it, and it has been mentioned in a recent review, but it is not listed on the NAD site.
The question is whether or not this seems sensible, or if there is something I should definitely do differently.
One other detail which may be relevant, the room is 16 by 40; one room flows into another, but viewing/listening would be more like 20' from the front wall.
