I had a custom home theater company install a complete home theater system. They installed an LCD TV with two HDMI cables to my DVR/HD Cable Box and my progressive/HDMI DVD player along with a new receiver etc..etc...
They also installed a Psychlone Component selector. For the last 6 months I haven't had a need to use it. Now that I have PS3, I hooked up the PS3 via HDMI & Digital Optical. Now I connected my DVD player using component cables to my Psychlone selector.
The problem I am having is that I am not getting video or audio when I turn on my DVD player. I have triple checked the cables. The home theater company did not leave any instructions with the Psychlone selector, I am afraid of ruining all of my settings on my TV and receiver, and I can't find any literature online. What could be wrong? How can I troubleshoot without ruining all of my settings through my TV?
