Silver Member Username: MvanmeterKY USA Post Number: 123 Registered: Jan-06 | if I read your question correctly, the Pioneer sub has its own amplifier, so hooking it up to the "sub-woofer OUT" connector of the receiver will have no effect on the receiver - it is sending line level output to the sub to be amplified there. If your existing Insignia system includes another subwoofer, than the "Y" connector mentioned above will work fine. There are even sub-woofer cables with dual connectors on one end to create the "Y" internally |
