Could anyone tell me if i can use floorstanders for rear speakers? Would they be any good? I have a budget of £50 and i have seen eltax floorstanders for £49.99, and i'd like to replace my small satellite speakers, i already have a pair of eltax floorstanders for the front but they seem to drown out the volume of the satellites so i wondered if it would be worth getting floorstanders for the rear as my front ones sound really good.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes you can. It actually is better. Set your surrounds for LARGE in your decoders setup.

Thanks Derek, i think i will buy the floorstanders, have you by any chance heard of eltax galaxy floorstanding speakers? I've searched for them on google and the eltax website and they don't seem to exist but www.maplin.co.uk are selling them for £49.99 a pair. Does anyone know if they're any cop?
