Budget $2,200. Want great sound at low volume. 60/40 Movies/Music (all types but no rap and the likes) I was thinking the Onkyo SR805 and perhaps the HTD level threes. (Has anyone heard their stuff??? I have not) http://www.htd.com/cabinet-speakers/level-three-speakers Then I did a bit of research and common advise is to by a well matched system. The problem is I have not been able to find a source that identifies well matched systems. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Good sound , good quality for a reasonable price. Stay away from the stuff at the big-box electronic stores (in general). Denon is a good choice, as is Pioneer. I'm pretty happy with my Pioneer VSX-1016. |
