Sunday, February 25, 2007 - 23:10 GMT I recently bought a Durabrand STS92 system. Do you know of any place I could buy extension cables for the factory connection type? All of the speakers have built in wires that connect directly to the back of the dvd player. I just need a few more feet for the rear speakers.

Sunday, February 25, 2007 - 23:18 GMT Cost. I'm a student. The sound is plenty good enough for me. I'm not an audiophile that can tell the difference between small changes in quality.

Sunday, February 25, 2007 - 23:51 GMT Ah, I see. You could cut the wires and splice some extra wire on there. Cat5 cable would work just fine.

Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - 03:38 GMT Why would you recommend CAT5??? DQ, Go to the same wal-mart and just buy plain old speaker wire and splice them to your current speaker wires. There is no need to spend a lot of money on speaker wire for your system. Go cheap all the way...once you finish college...things will be different.

Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - 03:56 GMT I don't know what it costs I guess. We have a 10k foot reel in our garage and I use it instead of buying speaker wire. Sounds just fine to me
