I only use it now as a transport, do you think it's worth keeping? My old dvd won't play cdr's so maybe keep it just for that...? My speakers aren't bad, but I don't find my system them that convincing or completely engaging for music. I might be missing some bass perhaps. I can't really get a sub until I improve the floor sound insulation. My building was converted into flats in the 80's with no insulation apart from carpet. The flat now has laminate flooring with an ineffective felt sound barrier. Can't fix this until I've saved the cash for alterations and am ready to put down carpeting and some descent sound barrier. hmmm,... can speakers sound better at volume? ie not just sound louder, but better? info on speakers...
