New member Username: SoxinsavPost Number: 1 Registered: Jan-07 | Just picked up the 5.1 Onkyo HTS-894 the other day. I got everything set up except my Cox Communications HD box. When I put the HDMI cable directly from the Cox box to the tv, it works fine. Video, sound, no problem. However, when I go through the receiver (HDMI from Cox box to receiver, HDMI from receiver to TV) I get an error that says my tv is not HDCP compliant and to not use HDMI and switch to component. Anyone else get this error? Thanks in advance for you help! There are two HDMI inputs on the receiver, but only the dvd player OR the Cox box are hooked up at one time, I'm not going to buy ANOTHER $100 HDMI cable. Yet. Does HDMI switching have anything to do with this? |
