I've found out that surround systems need three jacks on a computer to work (that is, one for the front speakers, one for the rear, and one for the center.) Is there not a system out there that can use only the headphone jack of a computer and work in surround sound? I find it ridiculous that you would be required a special type of a soundcard just to make it work...Can anyone recommend me any systems that DON'T need a computer to have three jacks?? I know a friend whose system works on his PC with just a connection to the headphone jack, where else can i find those? Thanks. |

You can use the headphone jack for input to multiple speakers but it will not be in tru surround sound. Do abit more research http://www.howstuffworks.com/surround-sound.htm |
