I am still forced to run component cables from my SA-8300HD box to my Pioneer 74-TSX-vi receiver, then run an HDMI from the receiverto my Mitsu WS-65813. When I run the HDMI from the cable box to the receiver instead, I get a graphic of a component input, and a message to use that input, AND that the HDMI input is not HDCP compliant. Adelphia Cable Co. says that even though HDMI on the cable box is present and may function, it is not supported by them at this time. Any way around it to keep all digital connection? By the way, when I run HDMI straight to TV from cable box, HDMI works. I guess the Mitsu TV does not care about HDCP, but Pioneer (HDMI equipped) receiver does. I just like being able to run all video through my receiver and prefer to keep it all digital. Any creative ideas??
