HDMI to TV; 5Ch analogue to Receiver

Just wondering if I will still be able to hear the audio through the receiver (Denon DVD 1920 to Kenwood Sovereign) via the 5.1 Ch analogue connections, if I have the HDMI running directly to the monitor.
