My question is about the walls I was thinking about using a drape material probably black (velvet or something) and draping them around all 4 walls. I figured that would be a great way to add texture and with the proper lighting give it a wild pimpin look. added with the proper plants and accesories |

To do that, you'll need acoustic panels to absorb over a broad frequency range. If you want your room to sound good, this is the kind of stuff you should be looking into. http://www.gikacoustics.com/ Hanging material is great for asthetic reasons, but it has minimal acoustic value. You'll need a combo of 2&4" thick acoustic panels for that job.(preferably 4") Good luck |
