I bought a NAD T533 DVD player and a NAF T753 Receiver. This gives me several ways to connect this set to my TV/Speakers. The T753 has the capability to project "On Screen Display" on the TV. Now I wonder: - Would it be best to connect the DVD directly to my (ordinary 100HZ CRT) TV by using component to SCART cables or do I connect the DVD through the receiver? - Is it better to connect the DVD to the receiver bij optical, coax or 5.1 cables to the receiver?
Best connection is a direct connection, DVD video to TV. Coaxil to receiver. Optical and Coaxil do the same job about the same quality with coaxil being a little cheaper to buy.
So can i connect my component vid cables to my tv....my optical to my recievier and stil watch dvd in surround? i though everything had to go through receiver?
Will there be a delay between picture and sound? how much difference will i notice in the picture? I have a Denon 2807, Pionner plasma 43 inch and Kef Speakers.
