I already have an audio reciever from my father...I was wondering what suggestions people would have for speakers. Im looking at 5.1 if its affordable. Two requirements affordable and sounds good, it doesn't hurt if it looks good either Thanks for the help -Rumast17 |

I suggest you get 2 front speakers and the subwoofer first (if you don't have 1 already) then buy the center & surround speakers later. The AS-P4000 from Athena Technologies is a decent 10" sub that's on sale now at Best Buy for $120 (get it from a Best Buy store instead of the on-line BB to avoid $26 shipping charge) and the AS-B1.2 bookshelf speakers are $176/pair here: http://www.bestpriceaudiovideo.com/products/product_detail.asp?Inventory=4667&Sh ow=P . If you already have a subwoofer, spend that money on the Athena AS-C1.2 center. It's about $170 from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A0R4FY |
