New member Username: Kope123Post Number: 1 Registered: Apr-04 | I have a Pearl Harbour DTS only and not ES or EX bla bla bla edition and Yamaha 440 Receiver. But i so wonder when i set up the receiver to DTS ES MATRIX 6.1 the Rear Back is ON !!! ??? When you look on the http://www.dtsonline.com/cinema/find/index.php?ftID=movie_releases They said the title with * mark is Available for playback in the DTS-ES Extended Surround format. Sample : Master And Commander. But in my opinion the title Master and Commander is DTS only and not ES or something ??? if i'm correct ? So what the ES mean if it not descrette 6.1 ? Almost all new receiver can make a DTS ES MATRIX 6.1 with just a DTS only DVD title. Anyone can explain me ? Or give me clue how to find a really Descrette 6.1 Title if the DTS official site is already wrong !!! Now i just have a 2 LOTR series for the descrette 6.1. Please help me find more !!! Silver Member Username: Project6Post Number: 518 Registered: Dec-03 | DTS is compatible with all DTS decoders, no matter what the format is. 5.1, 6.1, .71 they are all compatible. There is not a lot of movies released with DTS-ES discrete and the official online listing is the only one available, so far.
