Monday, March 20, 2006 - 20:32 GMT Hello. I am setting up my first home theater and have been reading this forum for a few weeks now. I need a sub and am not sure what I should be looking for. I've decided on the Klipsch Quintet IIIs, and the Yamaha RX V557 receiver. I don't would like to spend around 200 on the sub, is this reasonable? My room is 15 x 12. thanks

Monday, March 20, 2006 - 20:44 GMT You have a medium size room. A $200 sub is not going to cut it in any size room. Paradigm sub PDR-10 is about $400 anything less is a waste of money. A ten inch driver and a 200 watt amp should do.

Tuesday, March 28, 2006 - 19:45 GMT Actually I opted for the IIs. I bought a HSU 10 inch sub and was going over budget. Have not set up the system yet as I am waiting on the receiver.
