Philips HTS5000W/12

Hi all, i bought yesterday a Philips HTS5000W/12 home theatre system but i realized that it wont play region 1 DVD's :-(
Now im stuck cause i have about 25 collectors dvd that i cant watch.
Is there a procedure that i can make it region free?
