Saturday, February 18, 2006 - 22:44 GMT Hello everyone. I have been looking at a few speaker systems for my room. I have been looking at the Athena micra 6 Along with the Infinity Tss-450. I would only like to spend around 300 dollars for this. I will be using my mini hi fi receiver 2 push this (it is alreasy pushing 6 speakers fine. What speaker system do you guys recommend for around 300 or cheaper. I would like something like 6.1. Thank you, Elliot.

Sunday, February 19, 2006 - 00:13 GMT Oh yeah also I believe the Reciever is 6 ohms and the athena micra 6 is 8 ohms. Does that matter???

Sunday, February 19, 2006 - 02:55 GMT That unit should work with your unit. The impedance should be okay as long as you don't use 4ohm speakers. I am just not that familiar with boomboxes and why you would want to expand that unit. It would be better if you get an inexpensive receiver for those speakers in the near future. You should also be mindful of the speaker output terminals that your boombox uses.
