Help please ! I am putting together my home theater using 7.1 Orb Mod2 speakers and a 7.1 Sony STR-DE998 receiver.My question is what about a 7.1 DVD player...is there such a thing?If so does Sony make one? Thanks
I haven't heard of one. It's hard enough to find a dvd that's made in actual 6.1. I'm starting to hear about the "true" HD dvd's so maybe they will increase the audio output to true 7.1. Who knows?
I have sony equipment as well and the receiver just upconverts to 7.1 from a 5.1 or 6.1 source.
