New member Username: BenboyPost Number: 1 Registered: Feb-06 | I purchased a Panasonic DVD-S97S last year and then received a Samsung LNR238W 23 inch tv, and i would like to accompany it with a bit of nice sound. I have seen some of the new a/v recievers and they seem great, especially with that tempting HDMI plugin i want. Some one answer me this, if i have HDMI on my tv, and dvd player, then i also need the plugin on my a/v receives and my speakers?...or only my receiver, or none of them? Somebody please clarify, and i do know that i do not need HDMI, but i would like to have it. Anyway, back to the topic, this system was announced at CES 2006 and seems to be everything i want, an HDMI switching receiver and speakers for under 500 bucks. Seems almost too good to be true.
