I have a Samsung DLP TV. Comcast digital cable. And a Onkyo TXSR603X reciever. I'm trying to hook up everything through my reciever using components video cables.
I used to have the cable box out go directly to the TV, and everything looked fine.
Now, I've got the cable box going to the Reciever (along with the DVD player) and the Component out on the Reciever running to "Component In" on the TV.
I'm getting picture, but it isn't as clear as before on the TV (dvd looks fine). Is there a way to fix this?
I prefer to hook video connections directly into the tv if possible, rather than going through the receiver. You can possibly loose some signal quaility if you are using the receiver as a "switch". You can check the conection to make sure they are secure and possibly try adjusting the tv settings a bit. You will probably have the best luck running your components directly into the tv.
