Unregistered guest | DVD to TV video: component (red, green, blue)or S-video is your TV lacks component inputs DVD to TV sound: red/white RCA's Sat to TV video: S-video Sat to TV sound: red/white RCA's For the DVD recorder you will need an input and an output. Recorder to TV video: red, green, blue or S-video Sat into recorder video: S-video or yellow RCA Recorder sound IN/OUT: red/white RCA's This setup is only a guess as you did not specifiy the specfic inputs per your equipment. This setup lack digital sound but I'm assuming you have no hometheater receiver of other audio device that will play digital sound, therefore, I kept this setup analog only. Hope this helps you some. |

Anonymous | Right, I am a total technophobe here, so I hope someone can help me. I have a Grundig digibox, and have just bought a Panasonic DMRES20 for my son, which he has in his bedroom. I run a coaxial outside the house up to his bedroom, and it plugs into the 'RF In' on his DVD recorder. This allowed the freeview channels on the DVD Recorder to all set up properly, but it does not set up a channel for the satellite signal. We have temporarily got round this by manually setting up a channel on the DVD recorder for his video recorder, and watching that with the video recorder set to the satellite channel. This causes a slight loss of picture quality though, and it would be much better if the DVD recorder was set directly to show satellite output. It is impractical to run a scart lead from the digibox downstairs to the DVD recorder upstairs. Can anyone offer advice? |
