right, i have a dvd surround sound system and to get surround sound for my t.v i need a coaxial cable (suposidly), on the back of my dvd player ther is a orange coaxial space and the question is, if i buy a coaxial cable and i put it in the back of my dvd player where does the other end go????
No, it would not work that way. You have to use the audio output of your TV and connect it to the back of your HT system.
The orange coaxial should be an input (check). This is used to plug in a device that has a digital output, like another DVD player or a gaming system that is capable of sending out digital signals.
