Posted on Hello all, Super noob questions (sorry) I just bought a Radeon 850Pro and I want to connect it to my old Philips HDTV. My TV has component video,s-video and 1 RGB input. The Radeon has 1 VGA output, 1 HDMI, and 1 s-video. I'm thinking of connecting the computer to the TV via an HDMI to RGB cable. Would this work? What resolutions can I get from this? Would connecting through HDMI-to-component video be better? Which option would allow me to view higher resolutions on my TV? Which one would offer the best quality for: Gaming TV/Dvd entertainment Thank you so much |

Posted on Sorry, I meant the Radeon has a DVI output, so the question is whether a straight DVI to RGB cable would work to connect computer to HDTV tv |
