Sony Dream System

I recently installed the Sony Dream System DAV-FC7 (in 2003).

It is a pretty decent sounding system. The issue I have is that it is 100 Watts per channel, but the system does not seem to get loud enough. When I want to listen to music, I would like all 4 speakers (not the center channel, but the woofer) and I can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Also, if I want to amplify the sound to be louder, how can I go about to that?

100w not loud enough? Are you using it in a pole barn or something? Sheesh...

Use the Sound Field buttons on your remote control.

A Sony rating of a 100 watts per channel is overblown and is not an indicator that it will actually be able to hit that ceiling in real world applications.

If you want to amplify the sound you will need an amplifier or get a better system with better speakers.
