As short as possible. I just convinced NAD to take back my T773 because of all of the hissing and LF buzzing, in addition to all of the suprising limitations which popped up.
I am now on the market again, and am Focused in on the Arcam AVR300. The dealer also carries the Rotel RSX-1067.
I am a stereo guy first, home theatre second. When I walked into the shop, the most opinionated guy told me he would not sell me the Arcam because the Klipsch KG 5.5 are too sensitive (98dB 1w/1m). He said the Arcam was colored to be a bit brighter, and combined with the Klipsch, it would be irritating to me after a while.
It suprises me because everything that I have read indicates that the Arcam is one of the better "stereo" 7.1 receivers, producing the least colored sound.
I will take both home for a trial, one at a time unfortunately, but I am wondering if there are any opinions on either model, and the salesman's opinion/position.
