New member Username: DansPost Number: 1 Registered: Nov-05 | I'm in the process of setting up a dual zone HT system with the following specs: * A media room will have the HT system and the head-end for all wiring. * A rec. room will have wiring for four speakers and a subwoofer. * There is no direct line of sight from the rec. room to the media room. Questions: 1. How do I run wiring so that I can control the Rec. room via infrared (or keypad) so that I can access any component from the media room while in the Rec. room? 2. I'm assuming that I should have two head-ends in the media room (one for the media room system and another for the rec. room speakers) Is this correct? Thanks anyone! |

There is then a transceiver placed at the main equipment location. Any decent audio shop should be able to provide the pieces you need. Here's one source, but there are plenty to choose from. A simple table top system can run about $50 from one of the big box stores. http://www.xantech.com/ |
