Bronze Member Username: DotbowelsPost Number: 18 Registered: Oct-05 | I have a remote that has always worked with my TV, DVD Player, and other stuff. Yesterday I turned on the radio with the remote and listened. I turned it off. Today when I turned the TV on it doesnt come on. I have tried everything and every button and cant figure out why. When I push the normal buttons the supporting equipment below comes on like it always does but the TV doesnt come on unless I use the specific TV remote. I don't want to have to use 2 remotes. Any idea whats wrong? In the picture below the red is near the TV button I always turn on, the white is near the AV (audio-vision button) button I always use. When i turn everything off i use the red, white, and the blue. The link to the picture is below. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx dorothy http://community.webshots.com/user/dotbowels |

Something might have been pushing on the buttons overnight and could have "accidently" unprogrammed the remote. If that doesn't work then you could have worn out the button. It's not common to wear out but it does happen. it has to me. If that is the case you might have to buy a new remote. |

Most remotes are multi-function and you might have inadvertently pushing another function. The picture you attached is totally out of focus so I can't make out the exact button. Another possibility is it's out of battery. Low battery makes the remote do funny things. |
