Hi all, I've got my new HDTV hooked up to my PC through the vga port as a second monitor. It works great, crystal clear, great for video games etc. But for some reason, only when viewing DVDs in fullscreen mode, the picture is surrounded by black -- not just letterboxed, but matted out on the sides as well. It's as if the video is playing in full screen mode, but only at 50% size. Is this some common setting that I'm just being dumb about? Or are there gremlins I'm going to have to chase out...
