New member Username: KaushikPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-05 | I have a lot of mp3 and one TX-Sr702.I can get the mp3s to play using the DTS:Neo 6 decoder but is it possible to play them using the Dolby Digital EX.Or is it that mp3s cannot be played using DD?From the setup of Onkyo its evident dolby digital and analog/PCM are two different kind of things altogether.Is it true that the source media has to be dolby digital/AC3 for any receiver to switch to the dolby digital mode?Im playing the mp3s from my computer using a analog to coax converter and then plugged in the coax output of the converter into the coax input of the receiver.Thanks guys |

New member Username: KaushikPost Number: 2 Registered: Oct-05 | This means that i will have to play a stereo mp3,record them back as 6 channel wav file and run surround mp3 tool to convert them to surround mp3.There is no shortcut way of directly converting a 2 channel stereo mp3 to multichannel/surround mp3.Right? |
