Component video connections???

how important are these? was comparing between the onkyo hts660 and hts760 and the 660 doesn't have any video component inputs or outputs. how does that effect the system? are you still able to watch TV in surround then? thanks in advance.

Component Video is for the video image only. The more inputs/outputs you have the less likely you will be doing quicker upgrades.
I'd get the HTS760 if your TV is capable of the component hook-up
