When it comes to keystoning, how much is minimal and how much is a lot?

*What I am specifically refering to is the amount that I locate the PJ above the extent of the maximum lens shift. Is a vertical increase of 2" past this point employing a considerable amount of keystoning or not enough to worry about?

(I'm trying to get my PJ up as far as possible).

well the question you have to ask yourself is do you want the projector to astheticlly look good or perform better??? i have installed lots of projectors and on 90% of those the top of the lens is the same height as the top of the screen and keystoning is a minimal if any at all(depends on ur brand of projector)

Keystone...Do not use this feature at ALL.

If you need to consider using this feature then do not spend more than $1k on a projector. Because using keystone on a $40K projector will make it look like a $500 system.
