| I am in the process of building a house, and I plan to put monster cable in the walls for my home theater. It is currently a 5.1 setup, but looking to the future, I want to put in wires for a 7.1 system. There is plenty of info on the net regarding speaker positioning guidelines for stereo listening, little for home theater, and none for 7.1 that I can find. I have looked over the THX site, with no success. Anyone have a source? Main concern is minimizing the cable runs from the outlets to the speakers when placed in their optimum listening positions. |

Karl G | Put conduits in the walls instead of wire. That way you can pull any kind of wire you want in the future. Just make sure the conduits are big enough for the number of wires you need. |
