Will need more info on the room shape, materials, flooring, windows, doors, etc before we can discuss acoustics or speaker placement.

Make a general layout of your room using the paint program on your windows accessories. and post it here, no larger than 599x599 pixles

with regard to speaker stands, these guys have some interesting designs for a reasonable price.:

Good enough. The odd entry point creates a bit of a problem.

Since you already have your front speakers and they require stands, I would inset the front right to the inside of the curve of the entry point.

The most obvious position for the sub would be in the corner of the closet housing the TV, but if you could manage to pull a RG-6 Coax to your rear wall or corners, putting it beside or behind the presumed sofa would be much better accoustically.

Presuming the rectangle to the rear of the room is a couch, you might want to consider ceiling mounting your rears, or moving the sofa to center on the television.

After placing speakers in front left corner, right inset by door, rears behind and to either side of sofa cross firing (pointed at each other not at listener), center on tv and sub either in tv closet corner or behind sofa, measure all distances to center seated position and enter distances into the sound stage set up in the receiver.
