I recently bought the Kenwood HTB 505, which has digital audio. I need to get a DVD player, and would like to get the Kenwood DV-605. It has the optical output, but it doesn't have built in DTS decoding. My question is, if I use digital audio, does it matter if it has built in decoding?
Also, if anyone has this DVD player and would like to hook me up with a brief review, that'd be great too! I'm curious as to how well it reads and displays MP3 id3 tags.
Jeff, Yes the DV-605 has DTS. Not only does it have digital optical but digital coaxial as well. Just go to www.crutchfield.com and search for Kenwood DV-605 and Kenwood HTB-505 to see they were made for each other. Good Luck.
