I am selling Bose lifestyle 35, and plnanning to go for Onkyo HT-S570 HTiB , based on lots of discuss and positive posts here. If anyone had compared this with LS35, how much S570 sounds better. Also can we compare S570 with ORB HTIB ?. Or if there are suggestions for better HTiB under 500$.
I've not listened to Bose Lifestyle but yeah HT-S570 is really good... You can't get a better system at this price range... Recently bought this system and I must say the sound is really good with real good deep bass... Setup took hardly 5 mins and its worth the money spent... If you have $500 budget then look out for other hi end Onkyo models like 770 which also have some real good reviews... Main problem with HT-S570 is it doesn;t have Component or S-Video input to run thru your video source...
My main problem with Bose LS is the voice, English is not my mother tounge, I bought Bose expecting that the voice will be the best among all to reproduce, but Voice sucks in these systems.
Could you tell in HT-S570, do you have to turn on Closed Captions often ?. or you wont.
I really do not like to route Video into Audio Receiver, I have optical out from Dish Receiver or DVD player, and I don't bother about not having component/svideo in for sound receiver.
