Preinstalled wires are 8ft or higher for the fronts and rears surround

Any advice on speaker setup for this arrangement, thinking I made a mistake for the wires being so high. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you need to lower the wires... unless you have 8ft high floorstanders?
