Okay, I am totally new to the idea of sound systems. As such, I would like some comments on what I may be considering at the moment.
I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts as to how the Fluance compares to the Onkyo's. I mentioned the Onkyo's as it is apparently popular. This way I have something to compare the quality of Fluance. Fluance seems like a no name brand and I would like some opinions on how it fares.
Another option for me would be to get polk r30's or r50's as fronts and r15's as rears.
So I would like to know what is best between the Onkyo, Fluance, and Polk set ups I've mentioned. I know sound is subjective, but what appears to be the best?
*On a slightly different topic. Both the Fluance and Polks need a receiver. What is a good receiver to use? I would say my budget is $600 for the whole setup.
