I need to get this laptop going on this HDTV it only has VGA and S-VID output vid-chip is ATI x600 I think. the HDTV has a DVI but the PC does not. btw"the owners manual for the TV says not to ook PC to this DVI as it is not a standard DVI port." So anyway there is a several component inputs on the back of the TV one is a RGBHV So I bought a cable for VGA to RGBHV. But the only thing I can get the thing to run at is 640x480 and the picture is skewed badly. What are the settings that I need to get this thing to work at 720p or 1080i? I have powerstripe installed.
