They will be used as speakers for a Roland AT90S organ. I set them up temporarily in place of my Mirage M1's. Didn't expect much for $172.00/pr. but was VERY pleasantly surprised by the even frequency response and big soundstage these guys have. Boys and girls, they are worth much MUCH more than I paid for them. How many of you bothered to set them up with decent equipment? How many resisted the temptation of turning the woofer volume way up? Or tuned them to the room using your receivers notch filters? Oh! Noone? That's sad! If fact I didn't hear much about how they sounded at all. Why? |
Unregistered guest | I am considering a Paradigm surround sound system consisting of 2 Titans in front along with a CC-170 as Center, along with a PDR-12 subwoofer and a pair of ADP-170 Dipolars as rears. I have a Yamaha HTR 5760s receiver. My room size is 12x26 with mains being at one end and seating at the other end. Would this system be sufficient, it would be mainly for DVD movies or satellite. |
