I went to Circuit city to purchase a Onkyo SR602 to replace my aging Onkyo DS494. I ended up in an argument with the sales person over this whole HT770 system. He stated I was stupid for wanting the 602 as its only 85 watts when the receiver with the HTIB system was much more powerful and the speakers were much better them my Polk (Audio Monitor 50). The question I have is how are they rating the amp in the 770 system? I just looks like a 502 to me. I ended up ;eaving because I was sick of the guy.

Hey, you are absolutely right. I had the same question for the salesman and he could not answer. Let me know if you find out something.
