I have been reading a lot about the Fluance speaker packages and some of the good reviews, that say they lack bass. Does anyone have a Fluance sub? They have 2 styles (1 10 inch and 1 12 inch) If not, any recommendations for a good sub for a small room? Thanks
Was looking at Fluance sub as I just purchased the SX series system. After figuring in the shipping and all, I went with a Sony WMW500 at Best Buy for $128 (reg $205) sounds good and has plenty of adjustments for sound quality.

stay away from sony subs if you want quality sound. They are muddy, boomy, and very slow. If you want a quality subwoofer, take a look at the smaller offerings from Paradigm, SVS, Velodyne, and HSU Research. SVS and HSU Research being the top of my list. They are mail-order only companies that produce audiophile quality products with great prices.
Give the companies a call, see what you can come up with. There is no substitute for good quality bass.
