I have a Onkyo 670 Home theater and have noticed that sometimes on the surround speakers the dialogue sounds garbled or distorted. this is very light and can only be heard with your ear to the speaker. The speakers are hooked up correctly and work great on 5.1, DTS, ect. This is heard usually on old TV shows or when dialogue is coming from the center speaker and the receiver in on pro logic II. Just curious as to what this is and is there any way to prevent it and is it normal?
Deja vu, I thought I answered a question like this before The audio source is likely the source and not your receiver. What the receiver will do is amplify this garbled audio, TV audio sources are not exactly without distortion.
