Hi, apparently I can set of a range of DB output from each component of my speaker system. The default is 0db-which is nothing more than a mosquito 10 feet away. What does this mean? The lowest range that is emitted or the volume that is emitted at each speaker? The manual is terrible and does not explain what this does.
Any thoughts about Cambridge Soundworks systems too?
If I'm not mistaken this is how it works. Some times when you're watching a movie the center channel might seem too quiet while the fronts and surrounds sound fine. If that is the case, you can turn up the level of your center channel from say, 0 to +3. Another example would be if you are not noticing much comming from your surround speakers then you could turn those up. If everything sounds good the way it is then leave it all at 0 and just turn up the volume on the receiver. I have my center at +2 and same with my surrounds. It's all preference. Good luck
