I cannot use a single speaker in the center of my back wall because there is a window there. I want to use two speakers; one on each side of the window. If I hook them both up to the Rear Center connectors on my receiver could I damage the receiver?

How about putting it above the window or even on the ceiling? Usually manufacturer does not recommend you split one channel signal to two speakers.
