Try to audition them at home - make sure no re-stocking fee, and go with the one that sounds the best to you. You might want to put a rug under the speakers, and have nothing in between them, like a big TV, for better sound. Have you heard onkyo 800 and above? I like their smooth non-fatiguing sound. Rich and pleasantly clear. Won receiver of the year in secrets of HomeTheatre for under 1k. Might want to hear it. www.ecost.com has good price on ts-xr800 refurb. |
