Unregistered guest | I am the original owner of a wonderful Carver TFM-25 amp. Recently the surrounds of Infinity Reference Monitors that I have been using with this amp for the past 12 years have begun to perish...this presents me with an opportunity to replace the speakers. Any advice on a good match for this amp would be appreciated. Thanks! |

You can get the part at Ebay, or search for speaker fixing on the web. No need to throw them out. If you want to upgrade, these are good values. axiom (www.axiomaudio.com) - Read the reviews (www.vertigoonline.com has better prices on them) Ascend - 170 model (www.ascendacoustics.com) Swans - (www.audiogon.com) If you get a bookshelf, get a sub to get a full sound - I like this inexpensive sony - sa-wm200 (www.etronics.com) Bit boomy - some love it, some think too much so for music. |
