Harman Kardon's AVR230, 330 or 430 would be a good place to start. Or maybe the Marantz 5400. That is $400 -$700. Then a good dvd player $150-$300 and the rest for speakers. HK's dvd22 is $200 and is highly rated but has no DVD audio or SACD. There are many speakers that will sound great for the budget you have. Make sure the speakers are matched properly. Happy listening! |
